Snakes

i have to say up front that this post will take at least 10 points off my "manly" rating.

i HATE snakes. in fact, there is nothing more scary to me than a big snake. i would rather eat a quite dinner for two with Hannibal Lecter than to encounter a huge snake. here are four (of many) reasons why i hate snakes.

1. because snake rhymes with jake, and jake is a good name for a bank robber.
2. because snakes can strike in an instant. how many animals (or people for that matter) can strike in an instant? that is scary. imagine if you knew a friend who randomly lunge at you in an attempt to bite you when she was upset.
3. it was a snake in the bible who tempted eve. know what's scarier than a snake? a talking snake. seriously, God should've created me first - i would have never listened to a talking snake.
