I have had the privilege of officiating several weddings of former students over the years. It is an honor to be a part of that special day for people. It has also provided me with some very humorous moments. Once, while reading the vows for one young lady, I turned to the bride to have her repeat after me. I said, "I Mary Ellen take you Matt to be my wedded wife." She looked at me really funny, and all the sudden, I realized my mistake. My face turned to level 42 on the Embarrassing Redness Meter.

But none of my moments could top this one. Watch and be thankful this was not you.
